Warsoup, ett indiespel från Moon Studios, som tar den gamla uttjatade genren FPS och slänger in en dos strategi och fokuserar helt på sitt flerspelarläge.

Gameplay

• WARSOUP is a REALTIME STRATEGY FIRST PERSON SHOOTER

• Ranking System which doesn't affect gameplay

• Matchmaking

• Main focus on 1v1 and 2v2

• Really difficult to balance more players (Think 4 player Chess)

• Competitive multiplayer

• StarCraft approach = Everyone plays with the exact setup (No FOV tweaking for exemple)

• Moon Studios are working to make GREAT Defaults settings

• If there is ever a limitation or anything that really ruins the game, they promise to fix it ASAP

• Like any RTS, you can upgrade your equipment/weapons/turrets/...

• Class-Based = Marine, Juggernaut,Spectre

• Everything has a counter (Think Shadowrun)

• For now, only the Jug has Melee

• Very different experience from COD or HALO

• Also has nothing to do with Savage or Natural Selection

• Class Abilities

• 3 Types of turrets you can build, One of them spawns little spiderBot-like creatures that you'd use against anything armored. They're very much like the Brood Lords in StarCraft

Art Style/Graphics/Visuals

• Distinct Art Style

• Gameplay > Visuals

• Consoles: Constant 60 FPS, Visual clarity

• Character Customization

• Clan tag, Nationality flags, more stuff..

• Stylized gore (Think TF2 and Metal Slug)

• It's all about the feedback. You will SEE, HEAR and FEEL that the weapon you just upgraded feels a lot better (Railgun that damages the opponents armor to a railgun that slices the opponent in half for exemple)

• Marine:

Plasma Gun (Halo 1 pistol) > Reaper (Shotgun) > Plasma Cannon (Heavy Machine Gun)

Plasma Grenade > ... > ...

Sprint

• Spectre:

Sweet, sweet Railgun

Teleport (OMG)

Guardian

• Juggernaut:

Heavy weapons

Mycket mer kan jag tyvärr inte ge er, för det har inte släppts mycket mer information. Vad jag däremot vet är att de är i "crunch mode", så spelet är på G och kommer förhoppningsvis innan årets slut. Men håll gärna koll här för ny information.

Vad jag vet så kommer det att kosta några kronor. Det är en indietitel som släpps till X360, PS3 och PC (via Steam) så jag skulle gissa att priset hamnar runt 150kr.
